Brooklyn Art Space
Brooklyn Artists Gym is an artist studio and gallery facility in the Park Slope/Gowanus area of Brooklyn, New York. BAG's mission is to help make it possible for artists to further their work and careers at a reasonable cost.Becoming a member at BAG has many benefits beyond the extremely low-cost studio. BAG members have 24-hour, 7-day a week access to the studios as well as many discounts, including art supplies and gallery rental. Members also have opportunities to show their artwork at theThe BAG Gallery is an integral part of BAG's mission to help artists working in New York City. BAG Gallery shows draw hundreds of visitors to their openings and during scheduled Gallery hours. See our list of current exhibits. The Gallery is also available to rent for individual or group shows.We are located in a 10, 000 sq. ft. newly renovated space on the third floor of 168 7th Street ( just below 3rd Ave. ) on the Park Slope side of Gowanus, Brooklyn. The neighborhood supports many working artists, art related enterprises and creative small businesses. We are near the F, R, and G trains, and within easy access of Park Slope, Carroll Gardens, Red Hook, Boerum Hill, Cobble Hill, Downtown Brooklyn, and Fort Green. Members live all over New York, from Harlem to Bay Ridge.
