Institute For Community Living
Established in 1986, the Institute for Community Living is a nonprofit organization that serves individuals suffering from various mental illnesses. It operates more than 1,200 housing units and serves over 6,000 people. The organization provides developmental opportunities and clinical and support services for adults with mental disabilities. The Institute for Community Living organizes events that include games and recreational activities. It offers vocational and integrated substance abuse treatment services for adults. In addition, the organization operates a child and family services division that provides a range of outpatient clinic programs. It also owns and manages Emerson-Davis Family Development Center. The Institute for Community Living provides case management services for people suffering from AIDS.
