Brooklyn Friends School is a coeducational elementary and secondary school. The school, located in Brooklyn, N.Y., offers classes from prekindergarten through grade 12 and enrolls more than 600 students every year. Its curriculum focuses on both foundation skills and analytical and critical thinking skills that include organizational and basic skills in reading, writing and mathematics. Brooklyn Friends School also offers a variety of after school facilities and activities, such as games, creating collages, singing, storytelling, art projects, puppetry, theater, jewelry making, a library, gymnasium and cooking activities. The school conducts several workshops on modern dance, multimedia sculpture, cartooning, clowning, ceramics, rollerblading, theater, magic, computer graphics and foreign languages.
